0% art knowledge?! Getting into LaSalle?

After my major examination (o'level), I was honestly confused about my future... For instances, which diploma course should I pursue? what polytechnic would be the best choice for my future career?

Like every other normal student, I was hoping to get into the top polytechnic school because isn't it what we should all be aiming for? and surprisingly I got into SP Business Administration?! through EAE.

EAE a.k.a (Early Admission Exercise): which is an aptitude-based admissions exercise that allows students to apply before taking their o'level exam and receive conditional offers for admission to polytechnics prior to receiving their final grades. Meaning you have to pass all your papers and score below 24points?
.
.

Shockingly, the day that I received my o'level result it was not as ideal as I prayed it would be haha. I am not afraid to share but I scored an D7 grade for my mathematic o'level, you're probably judging me on how pathetic I'm to even fail my math right? Well....It's all in the past now, so it doesn't bother me as much as before.

The moment I got my grades back, I immediately bursted into tears...Holding tightly onto my result slip, that second felt so miserable as if my entire world has collasped. To be eligible for the course which I have gotten through EAE, I needed to score C6 and above.

However, when I look back...I'm glad that I was not eligible for the course, REASON!! I chose Business Administration in the spur of moment due to family and friends influence/pressure.

To be honest, getting a failed grade felt ridiculously heart broken. Yet, nothing was more hurtful than to have another knife stab directly into my heart...
that is to have insensitive friends;')

While, on my friends part, they all did amazingly awesome and I was extremely proud of it (from the bottom of my heart, I swear).
When friend a & b of mine began discussing and planning their birthday celebration on the spot... Yes, I had to push myself to force out a smile and act like my grades didn't bother the hell out of me;')) like I was alright and ever so fine;)) Anyways it is all in the past now!! #iholdnogrudges

On the other hand, thankful to the used to be a dear friend of mine..I managed to get ahold of myself and returned back to reality, then start planning from square one.

Getting into an art school? Me who has 0% of art knowledge or background.

109% it was the best decision I have ever made in my entire life.
Not going to share much about it, the rest is up to your own imagination how wonderful my campus life is.
Also, I do experience hardship too. Hence, I am not going to lie that my campus life is all that wonderful, but I do enjoy my days there~ so far so good!

( might consider touching on this topic again...if there are any readers who are interested to find out more hehe😉

Orientation Day 1🌸 :

Yup, the above photo was from my instastory. Totally describes how day one orientation exhausted the hell out of me Although I met new friends? we do not know each other well enough and so we never spoke to one another anymore hohoho which is honestly kind of sad?
.
.

Well~ what can one do? Moving on to day 2 ðŸŒ¸ðŸŒ¸:

Getting into color-coded house group, I was first assigned to red.
As I didn't had lunch together with the friends I met during LaSalle's interview. They went ahead and queue for the shirt first~ which they got themselves the pink t-shirt. Feeling separated, I was on a mission to search for someone who was willing to exchange the house t-shirt with me! Luckily for me, I managed to find someone who was extremely willing to exchange the house shirt with me even though I was already wearing it! #thankful

milo is happiness <3

Brunch provided^^ ; did not took a lot because I was considerate of the people behind queuing to grab a bite.

our reaction when we won second in place without participating much

Thankful to have these friends who add colours to my college life:)

EOY 2017 - 9&10 December

Hey my dear readers!! I AM BACK AGAIN!!
I understand that I have been rather inactive for quite sometimes but yay~ I'm finally not LAZY to update my blog hahaha

As many of you might know, I tend to lose interests in the things I love quite easily because of studies and stress? but not anymore;)
Honestly, I have been much happier ever since I entered LaSalle!! Studying in this school isn't an easy task but I am finally doing something I love to do hehe
.
.

Back to the main topic!!
my friend and I have been planning many cosplay plans for Todoroki and Midoriya Izuku shoot. Because most of the time, I am usually so INACTIVE? as I got no cos partners to cosplay with? :(
But thanks to her, I managed to be slightly more active in the coscom now.
So for EOY, we managed to execute one of our many cosplay plans which we have been considering for quite awhile.

** note **
I still do not have the photos that we shoot during EOY, hence today I am just uploading the selfies and some pictures which I have taken during the event.
Additionally, I only cosplayed on the 9dec only!!

W39 Bistro & Bakery Cafe - Advanced Birthday Celebration

What makes a good start of the day?
If you were to ask me, i would probably answer you this.
A motivating morning definitely comes with a warm cup of coffee/tea.
.
.

Recently, i had the opportunity and time to visit W39 cafe which i spend one month delaying the trip (opps but yay~)
It has been on my mind for quite sometimes to take a short trip down to Jalan Mas Puteh and try their popular menu.
The reason why it took so long for me to go there was simple, it was on the other end of Singapore and the travelling time is just so tiring. Despite all these, the meals prepared was awesome and i had a really great time there. I even tried a new type of dish which would never cross my mind hahaha:p

Sadly, the interior design was not like how i imagine it would be and was smaller than i had expected (opps)
On the other hand, the ambiances was great and the furniture are just so cute^^ in the way that they designed it in a 90s retro inspired style.
Also, i feel that having a small library corner is a fantastic idea in a cafe!! i mean for people who do not know what to do with the day and wish to kill time outside, they can just order something simple and read a book.

However, the outside was much more spacious and is an ideal place to do your studying!! ( Yes. The place is quiet and kinda ulu ulu? But trust me, there will be no one to disturb your precious studying time)

Flat White at $4.50
The coffee was quite ordinary? didn't really left me an impressionable taste?
*A* plus point for the heart though hehehe

* i don't quite like this photo because i look old and ugly here...;( *
I MEAN MY FACE LOOK SO PLUMP HERE?! AND THE SMILE ARGHH
#should have sleep earlier the night before?!

Parma Ham Toast at $11.90
This dish is simply just amazing. The truffle oil goes especially well with the ham and cheese. Paired together with the tomato and toasted bread *bang*
The overall taste doesn't leave me feeling so oily or disgusted, instead it was the opposite. Everything tasted so healthy that i was tempt to order a second hahaha except that the price didn't made me ask for more hehehe.

Ribeye Steak at $28.00
My friend ordered their steak and i asked to have a bite of it. The meat was so soft and juicy, when dipped into their home-made sauce *wah la~* you will be satisfied for the rest of the day.
The combination was even nicer when you wrap a small bite of the beef with their vegetable, maybe it is just me? This dish is definitely worth the try for beef-lovers.
(got the idea to wrap meat with veg from eating korean bbq:)

Overall, the experience there was comfortable. Would i make a second trip? Probably not, looking at how i need to take a taxi ride or wait for the bus. Still, it was worth for a one-time trip haha:)
