DAISO; failed pudding

こんいちわ(^o^)/

I made pudding for the very second time the other day, although it turns out to be a failure process..
The shape was however made very terribly and it turns out the way i didn't expected it would.. BUT ! it didn't taste as bad as it looks like..i guess? haha
(( Even though it looks really ugly.. the pudding still taste quite nice okay! although i must admit that it is kinda very sweet.. because of the caramel hehe ))

Well, as for the first time when i made the pudding it was like during my primary school days? re-calling my childhood memories haha, nah just kidding.

i actually don't quite remember how i made the pudding during those days when i was in primary school, but i still remember that i used water instead of milk when i first tried making pudding LOL! so hilarious.
i forgot the taste, but i sympathy the past me having to eat "water pudding" HAHA.

Before i begin, let me mention that this is going to be a really short entry!
Anyway please enjoy reading !

Let's begin with the process !
♪(*^^)o∀*∀o(^^*)♪

I bought this packet of pudding brand from the local $2 shop which is DAISO.
I assume that everyone knows the shop DAISO? haha it is like one of my favorite shopping place because you can get anything you need for like 2 bucks only and it is like so damm cheap and reasonable hehe.

I love eating sweets a lot so i thought that i wanted to try making pudding again cause it looks super interesting to make. Also pudding has like those bounding texture which seems super fun to destroy and eat it HAHA, lastly it like so Japanese style to eat pudding also.

If you do not know, this is how the logo looks like

Of course, buying pudding from a japanese local store, you must go  definitely with a Japanese milk brand HAHA!

okay i am so sorry haha, i know i am like a japanese fan freak..
i suppose any type of milk brand is fine, but the taste might be a little different and texture as different type of milk is milked from different cows.

pour at least 350-400ml of milk to make the pudding.
** make sure you don't use too much milk !
because the result won't be as good as you think it might be, if you pour in too much milk to cook with the pudding powder hehe.

next up, you can pour all the pudding powder and milk into a pot.

Follow by, boiling it with medium heat, you can stir the milk with the whisk while it is boiling, to ensure a consistency in the process, however do not consistently stir it.

Ensure that you do not over heat it for too long as well because you might burn it.. boil it for around the estimated time 5 minutes is just fine.

after you finish boiling it, you can pour the liquid state pudding into any type of cup, silicone you want to shape it into.

Please cool it in the refrigerator for around 2 hours so it will turn into the solid texture we want.
** Do not place it inside the freeze, you might freeze the pudding and it won't taste nice haha.

Next up let's make the caramel sauce !

Pour the caramel powder into a small bowl.

Take one full tablespoon of water and pour it into the bowl you pour the caramel powder in and mix it till it isn't really sticky.

After awhile, you will get this color, don't make it too watery because it will kinda make the caramel taste weird?

2 hours has passed since i placed it in the fridge, and this was the result i got..
turned out really unexpected..
i was really hoping for a nice rabbit pudding shape, sadly i guess i should have placed it in the fridge for a little bit longer haha.
But it is alright! the next time i make pudding again, i will improve my skills !
.
.

To summarize my entry, i am going to end off with a video, for you guys to have a better view of how to make pudding!
I hope you would enjoy making it as well, do try out this yummy dessert !

I would also like to apologize for the late update and poor photo graphics, lastly, thank you for reading my blog !
Have a fun making pudding day hehe !
